Kenneth Raymond TRANTER

Kenneth 'Ken' Tranter of Cochrane, AB, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the age of 90 years. Ken was born in Scarborough, ON, on June 20, 1935. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cindy (Bob) Kam of Benchlands, AB; son and daughter-in-law, Mark (Catherine) Tranter of Ontario; eight grandchildren, Jason of Ontario, Brandon of Calgary, AB, Kira (Trevor) of Airdrie, AB, Lauren (Jonathan) of Ontario, and Conner (Brittany) of Calgary, AB; five great-grandchildren, Skyelar, Millicent, Beau, Benjamin, and baby on the way; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Jan; parents, Lillian and Walter Tranter; and brothers and their wives, Herbert (Margaret), Walter (Flo), Charlie, and Gordon (Kay). A Celebration of Ken's Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
