William WORDEN

William Worden, resident of Rosewood Estates Retirement Community, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Northumberland Hospital, Cobourg, at the age of 96. He was the beloved husband for 50 years of the late Joan Worden (Monkhouse). William is lovingly remembered by his children, Brenda (Peter) Leering, Mary Jan Lyle (Gerald Helmer), and Lori (Kevin) Coffey. He was a cherished grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of ten. William will be missed by his sister, Margaret Johnston. He was also a loving companion of the late Edna (Jo) Gleed for 20 years. William was predeceased by his parents, William and Marie Worden, and his brother, Robert Worden. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and interment will be at a later date.
