Paul Donald Eddy

Paul Donald Eddy of Cobourg, Ontario, passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on December 26, 1941, he was a beloved member of his family and community. Paul was predeceased by his former wife, Betty 'Boo' Eddy, and his brothers, Jim and Pete. He is survived by his wife, Cash Eddy; his children, Don Eddy (Phyllis), Scott Eddy (Sharon), and Wendy Smith; and his stepsons, Randy Richardson (Jenny), Dan Richardson (Tammy), and Greg Richardson (Wendy). Paul also leaves behind grandchildren Jessica (Jeremy Savoie), Jeremy Eddy (Jessica Wynn), Christine Eddy, Ben Eddy (Toriann), Dana Smith, and Erin Smith, along with great-grandchildren Anna, Oliver, Grayson, and Janessa. He is further survived by his sister, Mary Bertin (David), sister-in-law Judy Eddy, cousin Garnett, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life was held on September 6, 2026, at MacCoubrey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SickKids Foundation or Ed's House Hospice would be appreciated.
