Marian Dorothy Wakely

Marian Dorothy Wakely of Cobourg, Ontario, died on August 23, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on August 28, 1939. Marian was predeceased by her husband Paul Wakely, her brother Fred Ardis, and her siblings‑in‑law Mary Guthrie, Bill Wakely, Philip Wakely and Judy Wright. She is survived by her children Lorraine Ottolini and Brian Hand; grandchildren Katie Ottolini, Amanda Kirkton, Robyn Ottolini and Brianna Hand; great‑grandchild Lavender Kirkton; nephew Trevor Ardis; great‑nieces and great‑nephews Evan and Lauren Ardis; brother‑in‑law Garry Wakely; nieces and nephews Kim Wright and Heather Ferris; friend Red Hatters; pets Kit‑Kat; and caregivers Ainsley, Alana, Gail, Koll, Niglas and Dr. Mulé. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, 30 King Street East, Cobourg, ON K9A 1K7. Donations in her memory may be directed to the Northumberland Humane Society, Theatre Road, Cobourg.
