The family of Lorice Stone announces her passing on August 29, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on February 26, 1936, in Cobourg, Ontario, Lorice is fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. A celebration of her life took place on September 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, followed by a reception at 12:30 PM and a burial at the Heritage Cemetery of St. Peter at 2:30 PM. In honor of Lorice, donations may be made to Rebound Child and Youth Services or the Northumberland Humane Society in lieu of flowers. Her warmth and thoughtfulness will be cherished by all who shared moments with her.
