James Frederick Burley

James Frederick Burley was born on October 20, 1947, and died on August 20, 2026, at the age of 78. He was predeceased by his daughters Jennifer Covert and Kathy Burley, his sister Doreen Hannigan (Paddy), and his siblings‑in‑law Bob Atkins (married to Carolyn) and Patricia House (married to the late Jeff). He is survived by his wife Linda; his sons Mathew Burley (Mel) and Craig Burley; his grandchildren Tyson, Carter, Devan, Ariel, Owen, Abby, Blair, Declan, Fionn and Keely; his siblings Patricia Tymchuk (Teedor) and William Burley; and his siblings‑in‑law Shelva Smith (married to Ken) and Betty Atkins (married to Denis). Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Centreton Community Centre, 2363 Northumberland County Road 23, Alnwick/Haldimand, Ontario K0K 2G0. Donations may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
