Irene Christina (Wilson) Parker

Irene Christina Parker, née Wilson, of Cobourg, Ontario, died on July 31, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Parker, and her sister, Evelyn McVety. Survivors include her children Gary (married to Anne), Lynda Coyle (married to Hank), Dennis (married to Randi) and Marlene Davidson (married to Donnie); her grandchildren Stephen, Darren, Karen, Derek, Tanya, Tasha, Ryan, Stacy, Parker and Ashley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation took place on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1K7, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Roseneath United Church, the Palliative Care Unit at Northumberland Hills Hospital, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
