Hughena Palmateer of Cobourg, Ontario, passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on August 22, 1944. Hughena is survived by her children Todd (married to Sarah), Patty (married to Wilf) and Jay (married to Karen); her grandchildren Christian, Caleb (married to Kayla), Curtis, Melena and Amber; her nieces and nephews Roberta, Amanda, Peter, Crystal, Chad and Michael; and extended family members Joyce, Pauline and Ruth. She was predeceased by her siblings Mickey, Bonnie and Barb. A graveside service will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church, followed by a reception.
