YVONNE MARILYN MILLWARD

Yvonne Marilyn Millward of Chilliwack, British Columbia, passed away on June 4, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in Montreal, Quebec, and raised in St. Lambert, she was educated in a Catholic convent. Yvonne pursued a career in public health, graduating from McGill University and working in various roles, including at Shaughnessy Hospital, McGill University, and Ottawa University, where she obtained a teaching and administration degree. She taught medicine and obstetrics before moving to Chilliwack, where she worked in public health until her retirement in 1999. Yvonne is survived by her sister, Sherrill, and brother, Barry, and his wife, Carol, as well as three nieces and two nephews. A dedicated public health nurse, nursing instructor, and long-time member of the Chilliwack Players Guild, Yvonne will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
