Willy Vellinga

Willy Vellinga of Chatham, Ontario, passed away on August 10, 2026. She was predeceased by her siblings Huibert, Christina, Vandendool (Esveld), Gordon (married to Rachael Vandendool), Ina Kraayenbrink (married to John) and Bert (married to Judy Vandendool). She is survived by her husband Bob Vellinga; her children Annette Vanderzwan (married to Ken), Robert (married to Caroline Vellinga), Jeanette Armitage (married to Jeff) and Janice Moyer (married to Dean); her grandchildren Evan Vanderzwan (married to Sandra), Noah Vanderzwan, Lauren Vanderzwan, Eden Lorish (married to Mat), Sean Vellinga, Caleb Armitage, Cole Armitage, Jackson Armitage, Nate Armitage, Claire Armitage, Owen Moyer, Jonah Moyer, Carter Moyer and Davis Moyer; her siblings Irene Kraayenbrink (married to Everet), Pete (married to Ann Vandendool) and Dick (married to Jeanne Vandendool); as well as Harrison, Elliott, Gregory, the Alliance Church and West. Visitation was held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Alliance Church, 255 Gregory Drive West, Chatham, Ontario, followed by a celebration of life at the same location at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the family’s choosing.
