William Gordon McCracken

William Gordon McCracken of Chatham, Ontario, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born on August 23, 1940. William was predeceased by his parents, Carlton and Helen McCracken (Coulter), and his former wife, Sharon McCracken (Knight). He is survived by his wife, Ann Spooner (Colby), and his children, Kelley McCracken (Michael), Sherri Marontate (Paul), Jodi Wright (Rick), Patricia Fox (Robert), and Deborah Heinhuis (Shawn Forget). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Teri, Ryan, Kaylee (Brett), Crissie, Bryan, Alieya, Kieran, Mavis, Faith, and Shannessa, as well as his brother, Ronald McCracken (Regina), and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sprucedale United Church.
