T. Keith Browning

T. Keith Browning passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late William Thornton and Muriel (nee Connor) Browning. Keith is forever remembered by his wife of 45 beautiful years, Barbara (nee Lutz). He was a loving father of Tom Parkyn (Lou Ann), Lisa Won (William), Robyn Arruda (Joe), and Kim Fisher (Kevin). Keith was a proud Papa of Tiffany (Nate), Camie (Mike), Danielle, Tyler, Chantal, Erica, Cori, and Cali, and a Great-Papa of Willem, Jasper, and Kade. He is also survived by his siblings, Brenda Gilkes (Robert) and Karen Byers, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Keith retired as a dedicated Salesman for over 30 years with Kent Refrigeration and Essex Appliances. He enjoyed landscaping, yardwork, reading, doing crosswords, and exploring golf courses around Chatham. Above all, his family was his pride and joy. Keith will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their caring and compassion during Keith's time with them. As per Keith's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Keith's Life will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In memory of Keith, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or Chatham-Kent Animal Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
