Ronald Joseph Vannieuwenhuyze

The family announces the passing of Ronald Joseph Vannieuwenhuyze of Chatham, Ontario, on August 26, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on December 13, 1949, Ronald was deeply connected to many throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Cecilia Vannieuwenhuyze (Vandeweghe), as well as his in-laws, Harry and Jenny Powers. Ronald is survived by his wife, Gail Vannieuwenhuyze (Powers); his children, Jenny Cammaert and Ann-Marie Colby (Jeff); and his siblings, Sylvia McDonell (Charlie), Kevin Vannieuwenhuyze, and Don Powers (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Chatham Kent Hospice.
