Peter Hainge

The family of Peter Hainge of Chatham, Ontario, announces his passing on October 13, 2026. Peter is remembered by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his parents, Gail Hainge and Christopher; his mother-in-law Lorraine Johnson (late Robert); his wife Susan; his children, Mike, Steve Hainge, and Chantel Dawson (Matt) of Chatham; and his grandchildren, Mason, Aubree, and Keegan. He is also survived by his brother Dan Hainge; his siblings-in-law, Ken Johnson (Deb) and Janice Ardis (Tracy); and his nieces and nephews, Josh (Lorraine), Joey (Sarah), Michelle (Matt), Chris (Jada), Mike (Michael), McKenzie, Brandon (Bre), and Candise (Ben). Additionally, he was cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation took place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, located at 245 Wellington St W, Chatham, ON N7M1H7. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the same location. Friends wishing to express their condolences are encouraged to consider a charity of their choice.
