The family announces the passing of Mariano Amisich of Chatham, Ontario, on September 18, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on October 13, 1934, Mariano was deeply connected to many relationships throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Giovanna Amisich, as well as his parents-in-law, Francesco and Rosa Zimmerman. Mariano is survived by his beloved spouse, Nerina, and his siblings-in-law, Maria Grison, Virgilio Grison, Emilio Zimmerman, and Angela Zimmerman. He is also survived by his siblings, Giovanni (Dalia) of Trieste, Maria (Mario) of Izola, Mario (Yolanda Zimmerman), and Slovenia Fondly, along with his son Claudio and numerous nieces and nephews. The family appreciates donations to a charity of one's choice.
