Madge Joanne (née Platschorre) STORY

Madge Joanne Story (née Platschorre) passed away on May 2, 2026, in her 89th year. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Suzanne (Overbeeke) Platschorre, her husband Richard 'Dick' Story, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edwin and Eleanor Story. Madge is survived by her daughters, Kim Story, Jodie (Frank) Lucente, and Cindy (Paul) Story-Riley, and her grandchildren, Samuel and Michael Lucente, and Danica and Delaney Riley. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Born in Kats, the Netherlands, in 1938, Madge immigrated to Canada with her parents after the war and settled in Elgin County. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
