Lillian May (née Young) OSBORNE
Lillian May Osborne (née Young) passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus on February 2, 2026, at the age of 75. Born in St. Thomas, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Lillian (née Smith) Young. She was the beloved wife of the late Gordon for 29 years. Lillian is survived by her loving children, Kit (Rob) Britton, Tammy (the late Allan) Gorman, Gord (Heather) Osborne, and Howard Osborne. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chontel, Kenneth (Kayla), Bill, Rob (Jess), Cole, Morgan, the late Cloe, Cayden, Corbin, Houston, and Xander, as well as her great-grandchildren, Telly (Jeremiah), Lilli, Jordyn, Jada, Tessa, Drayden, and William, and her great-great-grandchild, Birdie. Lillian was predeceased by her siblings, Mary (the late John) Quick, Duncan Young, John Young, and Madeline 'Peggy' (the late Leonard) Longmire. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph (Gloria) Young. A Funeral Service will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with visiting from 10:00 a.m. until the Service time. Cremation will follow, and interment will be held at Morpeth Cemetery at a later date. The family appreciates donations made in memory of Lillian to the Chatham Christian Centre or to Diabetes Canada.
