Larry "Leroy" Knapp

Larry "Leroy" Knapp, aged 68, of Rodney, Ontario, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. He wished to be surrounded by family and friends in his safe place. Larry is survived by his daughters, Marsha Knapp (Adam Timmermans) and Melanie McLeod (Ryan McLeod), along with his grandsons, Matthew, James, Nathan, and Kent, who brought him immense pride and joy. He was predeceased by his daughter Laura (1984) and son Nicholas (2007). Larry will also be missed by his former wife and lifelong friend, Penny Myers. Raised on the family farm in Dutton, he dedicated 31 years to the roads department for Aldborough Township. In retirement, he enjoyed helping his brothers on the farm and took pride in his lawn care. Larry loved good food, music, and was known for his jovial personality and memorable laughter.
