Jantje Rivard

Jantje Rivard of Chatham, Ontario, born on December 25, 1950, passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 75. She was predeceased by her parents, Adriaan and Maria Foekens, as well as her in-laws, Marinus Foekens, Ina Beintema, Andy Beintema, Margareth Beintema, Jackie Foekens, Irene Vanderveer, and Tim Vanderveer. Jantje is survived by her husband, Paul; her children, Shawna-Lee Rivard, Shari-Lynn Rivard (Andy Tops), and David Rivard (Leanne Cassone); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Destiny (Alex Granusaull), Jenna, Topanga Rivard-Vlcek, Brandon (Ori Rashish), and Carolyn Rivard. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Bentley, Lexa, Carter, Charlotte, and Blake; her siblings, Walter (Audrey), Murray (Barb), and Sylvia Wielhouwer (Hank); and her brother-in-law, Louis Beintema, along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation took place on September 24, 2026, at Evangel Community Church, followed by a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Terry Fox Foundation.
