Fred Allen COOK

Fred Allen Cook passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 86, at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. He was born on May 20, 1939, in Coatsworth, ON, to parents Bert and Nellie (nee Campbell) Cook. Fred was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Vermote) (2009). He is survived by his loving son Scott (Shelley) Cook, cherished grandpa of Brandon (Rebecca), Jessica (Shea), and Brittany (Matt), and devoted great-grandpa to Kensley, Lainey, and Kypton. Fred is also survived by his special friend Millie Walker. He was predeceased by his sister Colleen (late Ed) Morris. Fred drove truck for Omstead Fisheries, was a linesman for Bell Canada, and farmed in Tilbury East for many years. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal Street West, Tilbury. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Erie Cemetery, Wheatley. In lieu of flowers, donations to Chatham-Kent Hospice are appreciated.
