Douglas Donald "Doug" Ross

Douglas Donald 'Doug' Ross passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 69, at Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham. He is survived by his loving partner, Nancy Kelly, and his daughter, Chelsea, and her husband, Michael. Doug was predeceased by his parents, J.D. and Jessie Ross, and his parents-in-law, Robert and Marjorie Kelly. He will be remembered by his siblings, Suzanne, Terry, and Fay, and their spouses, as well as his brother-in-law, Robert, and his wife, Beth, Thomas, and Eugene, and his wife, Louanne. Doug was a dedicated member of the search and rescue group CASARA and had a passion for trains and aircraft. He enjoyed retirement, traveling across Canada and taking cruises in the Caribbean. A private family service will be held, and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multi Transplant Unit at London Health Sciences Centre or PAWS. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McKinlay Funeral Home in Chatham.
