Dianne Lauralyn Steele-Beer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dianne Lauralyn Steele-Beer of Chatham, Ontario, who departed this life on September 26, 2026, at the age of 72. Dianne was born on July 28, 1954, and is remembered for her warmth and thoughtfulness. She is survived by her beloved spouse, David Beer, her parents, Eugene Wilbur Steele and Freida Mae Steele, and her siblings: Janice Steele, Cherie Steele-Sexton (Niles Sexton), Debbie (Steele) Marshall, and Alan Steele (Linda Dudley). Dianne also leaves behind her stepchildren, Kristin and Aaron, step-grandchildren Katherine, Nicole, and Danielle, as well as nephews William Sexton and Steele Hughes. She was predeceased by Gina (Steele) Hughes and Mark Marshall. Visitation will take place on October 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM at McKinlay Funeral Home, located at 459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dianne's memory may be made to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
