Betty Anne Stevenson (nee Lahey)

Betty Anne Stevenson, known to many as Beaver, passed away peacefully at her home in Baysville on July 31, 2026, at the age of 69, surrounded by her family. Born in Chatham, Ontario, she spent much of her life in the Merlin area before retiring to Baysville in 2016. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, and daughter, and her true life's work was caring for her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and George Lahey. Betty is survived by her husband David Stevenson, children Trevor Stevenson and his partner Candice Horton, and Hillary Delanghe and her husband Shawn Delanghe, as well as her grandsons Oliver and Everett Stevenson, and siblings Larry Lahey and his wife Linda, Dale Lahey, and Rosemary Lahey. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and friends, including those from Grandview Lake.
