Adolf Hoffman

Adolf Hoffman of Chatham passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, at the age of 92. He was the cherished son of the late Christoff and Christine Hoffmann, and the beloved husband of the late Barbara, who predeceased him in 1999. Adolf is lovingly remembered by his children, Marilyn Coleman and her husband Paul of Grand Bend, Rob Hoffman and his wife Cathy of Chatham, and Tom Hoffman and his wife Lisa of Rondeau. He was a very proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren and great-grandfather of eighteen. Adolf was predeceased by his brothers, Phillip and his wife Hilde, and Alfred, as well as his sisters and brothers-in-law, Marty and Judi Pollinger, Eugene and Liz Whelan, and Pete and Lena Uzun. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Louella Hoffmann. Adolf was born in Ruthven, Ontario, in 1934, and later returned to southwestern Ontario, where he met his wife Barbara and established his career.
