Robert James Groves

Robert James Groves, a resident of Carleton Place, Ontario, was born on April 30, 1944 in Orillia, Ontario, and died on July 20, 2026, at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Elsie, and by his siblings Lillian, Jane, Betty and Doug. He is survived by his sons Rob, Gregg (Peppar) and Jason (Lousie); his grandchildren Kennedy (Ty), Nick (Briana), Rhiannen (Will), Jadyn (Anna), Marissa (Luna), Gavin (Kaitlin), Eli Cooper (Mo) and Maya; his great‑grandchild Ava; his close friends Marilyn and Edwin; and his remaining siblings Shirley, Ina and Allan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund through a local Legion in his memory.
