John Donaldson

John Donaldson of Carleton Place, Ontario, was born on November 15, 1952, and died on August 4, 2026, at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife JoAnn Donaldson; his sons Chris, married to Jessica, and Jonathan, married to Anna Laurie; his grandchildren Joey, Austin, Breeda and Mabel; his close friend Maverick; his parents William and Irene Donaldson; and his siblings Terry, married to Kathie, Faye, married to Barry, Suzie, married to Dan, Chris, Bill, married to Carole‑Ann, and Trudy, married to Tim. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Almonte Civitan Hall, 500 Almonte Street, Almonte, ON K0A 1A0. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
