Ian Petrie

Ian Petrie, a resident of Carleton Place, Ontario, was born on May 31, 1930, in Carragana, Saskatchewan, and passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his former wife, Donna (Austin), and his son, Rod Petrie. Ian is survived by his former spouse, Haroldine Armstrong, and his children, Reg Petrie (Aline) and Roberta Ferguson (Bill). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Danny, Amber, Shanna, Tara, Logan, Amanda, Brad, and Carley, as well as his stepsons, Brent Findlay (Michelle) and Scott (Debbie), and stepgrandchildren, Jennifer, Greg, and Heather. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, located at 19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1.
