Irene Jean Burns

Irene Jean Burns passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 90. Predeceased by her sister Betty and brother Clifford, she is survived by her nephews Stephen and Andrew Meyer, grandnieces Kristen, Elin, Victoria, and grandnephew Hank III, as well as great-grandnephews Oliver and Brody and great-grandnieces Evelyn and Rosaleigh. Irene was born in Sudbury and later resided in Brampton for many years, working as a Title Searcher for law offices and CN Rail. There will be no service, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society of Canada or The Canadian Cancer Society. Information regarding internment at Brampton Memorial Cemetery will follow.
