Margaret "Elaine" BORTHWICK,

Margaret 'Elaine' Borthwick passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 82. Born in Fort Erie to Art and Winnie Hutchison, Elaine spent her early years in Wasaga Beach, where her family built Dew-Laine Cottages. She attended school in Wasaga Beach and Collingwood before meeting her husband, Walter, at CCI. Together, they had three daughters and Elaine worked as a Dental Assistant at the Stayner Medical Center for 40 years. Elaine was a people person, known for her positive outlook and ability to comfort others. She cherished her family, including her grandchildren, and was always supportive of them. Elaine will be deeply missed by her loved ones.
