Zabby AMARAL

Zabby Amaral passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 58. He was predeceased by his mother, Ilda, and his father, Aires. Zabby is survived by his brother, Nelson (Cheryl); his nephews, Ronin and Locke; and a series of cousins, aunts, and uncles throughout North America and the Azores. Born in Galt, Cambridge, Ontario, in April 1967, Zabby was the firstborn of his parents, who had recently immigrated to Canada. He was born with cystic fibrosis, a condition that plagued him throughout his life. Despite numerous health issues, including two double lung transplants, Zabby remained positive and upbeat. He is remembered for his resilient and optimistic nature.
