Wayne Leishman

Wayne Leishman of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away on August 8, 2026. He is survived by his wife Karen; his children Caitlin Leishman (married to Thomas Vaculik), Emily Leishman (married to David Wilson) and Nicholas; his mother Jacqueline "Jackie" MacGillivray and father Frederick Leishman (known as Ted); his sisters Sandra (Sandy), Cameron (married to Robert), Patricia "Patty" Teske (married to Shawn) of Sault Ste. Marie, Nancy Keenan (married to Tim) of St. Joseph Island, and Wendy; his father‑in‑law Jim Teare (married to Jane Jones), brother‑in‑law Kevin Teare, and mother‑in‑law Diane Teare, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre, 942 Great Northern Road, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or a local Humane Society.
