Ruthann Thompson

Ruthann Thompson of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 58. Born on February 13, 1968, in London, Ontario, Ruthann was deeply loved and cherished by her husband, Dan Currie, and her stepsons, Ryan and Adam. She is survived by her parents, Bev and Jim; her grandmother, "Haha" Topham; her brother, Dave (Krista); and her nieces, Kennedy (Zachary) and Mal. Ruthann also leaves behind her aunt and uncle, Anne and John; numerous cousins; her parents-in-law, Joan and Jim; sister-in-law, Cheryl; brother-in-law, Mike; and a wide circle of friends. Visitation will take place at Lounsbury Funeral Home on September 16, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on September 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM on September 17. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo would be appreciated.
