Richard Benard Koth (Grandpa)

Richard Benard Koth, lovingly known as Grandpa, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 30, 2026, at the age of 92, while living with his daughter's family in Cambridge, Ontario. Born on July 16, 1933, Richard was the beloved husband of the late Sandra Lee Macdonald Koth. He was a proud veteran who served overseas in South Korea during the Korean War. Richard worked for many years as a Quality Control Manager at INCO and Union Carbide. He was a devoted volunteer at his church, serving in many ways, including leading and training altar servers and helping with the maintenance team and food bank. Richard leaves behind a loving family, including his grandchildren Paul, Lauralee, and Laryssa, and his great grandchildren Laurenda, Jordan, Nicholas, Ethan, and Sienna. He was predeceased by his wife Sandra. Arrangements are currently being made, and details regarding a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
