Matilde Alvernaz

Matilde Alvernaz, born on August 16, 1942, passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 84. She is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio Alvernaz, and their children, Maria Beacock, Joe Alvernaz, and David Escobar. Matilde also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Ross Beacock, Ann Marie Beacock, Jordan Alvernaz, Celinia Escobar, and Allysa Childs. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Corbett Funeral Home, located at 95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON. A rosary service will be held that evening at 8:00 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, followed by burial at Parklawn Cemetery at 11:30 AM. Matilde will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
