Mary Ellen Smith

Mary Ellen Smith of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on October 15, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of Cora and Raymond Young, both of whom predeceased her, along with her brother Wilfred. Mary is survived by her children, Gerald (Brenda), Beverly, Scott, and Wendy (Anthony), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Julie (Simon), Eric (Annie), Amy (Jay), Emma (Sam), Brodie, Maggie, and Lily. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren, Reese, Trent, Sam, Ellis, Cameron, Aubrey, Maisie, and Tate, and her brother Raymond (Butchie). A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fairview Mennonite Community, located at 515 Langs Dr, Cambridge, ON N1R0B9.
