Marcel Seraphin Joseph CHABOT

Marcel Seraphin Joseph Chabot passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on July 5, 1938, in Saint-Fabien-de-Panet, Quebec, Marcel later moved to Cambridge, Ontario, and then to Hamilton, before returning to Cambridge in 2023. A dedicated professional, Marcel graduated from the Canadian Institute of Management and worked as the Manager of Quality Assurance Codes and Standards at BIW-Boston Insulated Wire & Cable for over 30 years, followed by five years as a consultant. He also sat on the boards of 12 technical standards. Marcel is predeceased by his beloved partner, Brian Ramsay, as well as his parents, Rosaire and Prezilda, and several siblings and in-laws. He will be lovingly remembered by his surviving brothers and sisters, including Gisele, Claude, Regent, Jocelyne, Denise, Carol, Richard, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. The family extends their gratitude to the medical staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the staff at Chartwell Queen's Square Retirement Home.
