Ludovina Resendes

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ludovina Resendes of Cambridge, Ontario, who departed this life on October 2, 2026, at the age of 80. Ludovina was born on July 18, 1946. She was predeceased by her parents, João Andre and Maria Andre, her brothers Tony, Fernando, and Eugene, and her mother-in-law Maria Santo. Ludovina is survived by her husband, Jacinto Resendes (Jason), her daughters Nannette Meneses (Floriano Meneses) and Tammy Frayne (Mark Frayne), and her siblings Maria Andre (John) and Elias Andre (Amelia). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, godchildren, extended family, and friends. Visitation took place on October 5, 2026, at Corbett Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service. A funeral Mass was held on October 6, 2026, at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, with burial at Parklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
