Kristina Elaine (Eriksrud) Fitton
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kristina Elaine (Eriksrud) Fitton, who resided in Cambridge, Ontario. Kristina was born on July 5, 1940, in Durban, Manitoba, and she departed this life on October 19, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her parents, Haakon Eriksrud and Helen Eriksrud, as well as her sisters, Karen Oram and Eunice Bernacki. Kristina is survived by her devoted husband, David Fitton; her children, Rick Howat (Vanessa), Bradley Howat, Carolyn Hutchinson (Steve), and Nadine Fitton (Tony); her grandchildren, Cody, Scotty (Mackenzie), Brady, Ileana (Max), Daniel, Kasady, Makena, Kai Noa, Morgana, and Timothy Jr.; and her great-grandchildren, Vincent and Miabella. She is also remembered by many extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel, located at 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G4X9. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held later that day at 2:00 PM at Farnham Cemetery, situated at 408 Arkell Rd #376, Puslinch, ON N0B2J0.
