John Newton Crerar

John Newton Crerar was born on November 5, 1946. He passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 79. Raised in London, Ontario, he was predeceased by his mother, Rose (nee Goble); father, Headrick; brothers, Robert and Donald; niece, Bonnie; and nephew, Kenny. He was the beloved husband of Patricia. Loving father to Sarah Soikie, Rebecca Duguay (Kyle), and Mary Anne Schlosser (Ken). Loving stepfather to Angela Baker (Mike) and Christina Chau (Hong). Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Pearl Seymour, Charles Crerar, John Soikie, Micheal Duguay, Tobias Duguay, Benjamin Schlosser, Luke Schlosser, Samuel Schlosser, Machin Chau, Knox Chau, and Nikko Chau. A dear brother-in-law to Erdean Crerar (late Donald) and Larry Main (late Julianne). A cherished uncle to Angela, Linda, Bessie, Peter, Lois, and beloved Paul. John graduated from Bob Jones University in business and later from Wilfrid Laurier University in history. He worked in various roles, including teaching English in South Korea and working with special needs adults in Ontario. His final position was as a school bus driver, where he was known for his kindness and gentle smile. He will be remembered for his patience, humility, and ability to find the good in people.
