John Moniz

The family of John Moniz announces his passing on August 30, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on July 12, 1961, John is remembered fondly by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonel and Maria Da Gloria Moniz. John is survived by his brothers, Paul and George Moniz; his daughter, Melissa; as well as his nieces and nephews, Shandi Georgie (Brandon) and Josh, along with his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaela and Aria. Visitation took place on September 3, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Corbett Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on September 4, 2026, at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Cambridge Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
