Ilda Da Silva

Ilda Da Silva, born November 9, 1934, died in Cambridge, Ontario on August 18, 2026, at the age of 91. She is survived by her husband Gil Pacheco Da Silva; her children Delia Serpa, Mario and Milton (Whitney), all of Cambridge; her grandchildren Lenny Serpa, Darrell Da Silva, Ryan Da Silva, Derek Da Silva, Adam Da Silva, Mathew Da Silva, Kristi Da Silva, Lucas Da Silva, Joshua Da Silva, Dante Da Silva, Brooklyn Da Silva and Liam O'Toole; her great‑grandchildren Connor, Gillian, Tatelyn, Ashton, Sloan, Maddox, Sawyer, Whitley, Kinley, Aubree, Leah, Ellie, Granger, Liam and Tucker; relatives Dora Raposo of Toronto and Joao Calhau of Vancouver, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street North, Cambridge. A funeral service took place on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, followed by burial at Parklawn Cemetery, 750 Fountain Street North, Cambridge, at 12:00 p.m. A reception was held thereafter from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Corbett Funeral Home. The family requests that donations be made to the Cambridge Food Bank in lieu of flowers.
