Douglas John Shaw

The family of Douglas John Shaw announces his passing in Cambridge, Ontario, on August 31, 2026, at the age of 99. Born on June 14, 1927, Douglas was a beloved figure in the lives of many. He was predeceased by his wife, Nellie Shaw; his sons, John Shaw and Bob Shaw (Lisa); his parents, John and Sadie; his siblings, Peggy, Bill, and George; and his sibling-in-law, Gen. Douglas is survived by his daughter, Christine Harvey (Jim Parsons); his grandchildren, Michael Harvey and Ryan Harvey; and his brother, Don Shaw (Pearl). A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sidelines Sports Bar and Grill, located at 991 King St E, Cambridge, ON N3H3P4. In memory of Douglas, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke.
