Danuta Colis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Danuta Colis of Cambridge, Ontario, who departed this life on September 29, 2026, at the age of 94. Danuta was predeceased by her husband, Spiros Colis, and her daughter, Janina Colis. She is survived by her children, Mary Cylwik (Richard), Les Colis (Pam), Marg Davies (Norm), and Andrew Colis (Leeann). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Darrell (Angela), Lester, Christina (Kevin), and Chris (Alicia), as well as her great-grandchildren, Destiny (Josh), Xander, and Arielle, and her great-great-grandchildren, Axle, Aliyah, and Ashton. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Barthel Funeral Home, with a rosary service at 7:30 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's of the Visitation Catholic Church, followed by burial at Parklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danuta's memory to the Cambridge & District Humane Society.
