Christopher Robin Bryant
Christopher Robin Bryant passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 80 in Cambridge, Ontario. Born in Wortwell, Norfolk, England, he later immigrated to Canada after earning his PhD at the London School of Economics. He had a distinguished career as a professor of geography and economic development at the University of Waterloo and Université de Montréal. Christopher is survived by his wife of 59 years, Brigitte, his children Stephanie and Anthony, and their spouses Randy and Kristin, as well as his five grandchildren. He is also remembered by his brother Errol, and many other extended family members, friends, and colleagues. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Georgina Bryant, and his brother Patrick Bryant, Christopher will be deeply missed. A celebration of life is being planned, with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada and Fairview Seniors Community in Cambridge would be appreciated.
