Carlos Simoes

Carlos Simoes of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on August 7, 1931, Carlos was surrounded by family and friends throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents from Sao Miguel in the Azores, his wife Conceicao, his brothers Antiono and Norberto, and his great-grandchild Elias. Carlos is survived by his children, Isabel (Joao) and Emmanuel (Christine); his grandchildren, Steven (Stephanie), Mandy (Ryan), and Brett (Kristen); and his great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Chase, Cade, Lenora, Cole, and Lyla. Visitation took place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Corbett Funeral Home. A rosary was held that evening at 8:00 PM. The funeral service occurred on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, followed by burial at Parklawn Cemetery. The family appreciates donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
