Alene Egan

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Alene Egan of Cambridge, Ontario. Alene was born on January 19, 1933, and she passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond Imbleau and Inez Ryan; her husband, Leo; and her sister, Lorna Derraugh. Alene is survived by her brother, Henry; her sister-in-law, Margaret Imbleau of Ottawa; her nieces, Mary (Paul Welsh) of Ottawa and Aline Boles (Paul) of Mississauga; her nephew, Raymond (Rod Browning) of London; and her grandchildren, Gareth, Ryan Welsh, Sara, and Lorna Boles. Additionally, she is survived by many other nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Clements Church, located at 745 Duke St, Cambridge, ON N3H3T7. Donations may be made in her memory to St Luke's Place.
