Darrell DAY

Darrell Day passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 70, following a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Anja, and their children, Christine Neilson and her husband Tom, and Nicole and her husband Tyler. Darrell was also a devoted grandfather to Jake, Isaac, Eli, and Evelyn. He was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Joan Day. A lifelong member of Local 67 and a skilled pipefitter, Darrell had a distinguished career, working on numerous projects across the country and earning the respect of his peers. In his free time, Darrell enjoyed fishing and spending time at his cottage, which he lovingly referred to as his 'happy place.' He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Miller Funeral Chapel.
