Robert Bruce "Bob" HOOVER
Robert Bruce 'Bob' Hoover entered into rest at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on April 12, 2026, at the age of 101. He was the beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Parke) (2019). Bob was predeceased by his sons, Don (2006) (Kelly; 2024) and Glenn (2025) (Lynn). He is survived by his sons, Larry (Gwen) and Gordon (Linda), and was the grandfather of 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend special thanks to RVilla, where Bob lived since 2024, and the 3rd floor staff of West Haldimand General Hospital for the great care in the last four weeks. Bob lived in Caledonia with his wife and four sons, where he operated a family business for over 50 years. He was also involved in many local organizations in Caledonia and taught his sons his strong work ethic, having been a veteran. If desired, donations to Haldimand-Norfolk Senior Support or the Caledonia Food Bank would be greatly appreciated. Friends are invited to call at MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 28 Caithness Street East, Caledonia on April 17, 2026, at 10 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Unity United Church Cemetery.
