Laurie Verhaegen of Caledon, Ontario, passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on April 15, 1962, Laurie is remembered fondly by her family, friends, and colleagues. She is survived by her parents, Luke and Diane, her boyfriend John MacAulay, and her children, Ryan (Hannah) and Sarah (Calvin). Laurie was cherished by many relatives and friends who will carry her memory forward. A reception in her honor will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Erin Legion, located at 12 Dundas St E, Erin, ON N0B1T0. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.
