William John "Bill" FRENCH

William John French passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Carpenter Hospice. He is reunited with his beloved wife of 59 years, Esther, who predeceased him. Bill is cherished by his children, Dianna Bower and her husband Dwight, Randy French and his wife Daphne, Glenda Wallace, and Tracy French. He is also dear to his 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Sydney French, his brother Don French, and his sister Eileen Lowe. He is survived by his sister-in-law Susan Priest. Bill will be missed by many relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home Burlington Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Burlington East Presbyterian Church. Donations in his memory can be made to Campfire Circle or to Carpenter Hospice.
